The beginning of summer...

The past week and a half have been spent in Arizona with my family. It was such an amazing time! Although the temperature was around 95-105 each day, it didn't seem that hot because it was such a dry heat, no humidity...nothing like NY. I absolutely loved it! We did so many amazing things. My dad spoiled us CRAZY and we know it! We went on a thing called a "Pink Jeep Tour" which took us to places normal cars can't go. We went through mountains and up big rocks and boulders to see amazingly beautiful sites created by God. It was spectacular! Needless to say, I took WAY too many pictures! =D We layed in the sun almost every morning or afternoon. The weather was beautiful! The ride home was a little rough trying to catch up on 3 hours, but I think i'm finally feeling normal again.

This summer i'm teaching the 2-3 year old Sunday school class. I'm so excited! Yesterday was my first day and honestly, even though they are only 2 and 3, I felt so unqualified to be teaching. But God reminded me through scripture that He even used the most unqualified people...all you need is a willing heart to serve God. It will be such a great time and i'm so thankful for the opportunity to serve Him!

I have a job this summer, thank you Jesus. I've prayed lots for a job and God definitely provided. My brother and I are actually going to be working together for a client of my dads. We're not doing anything glamorous, but that's okay. We'll be working in a warehouse going though files and such. It pays great and for that i'm thankful.

I'm also getting the opportunity to play soccer this summer in a league. It'll be every Thurs and every Sat..so that gives me a motivation to be consistent in my running. I'll be starting that on Thursday so hopefully I can get into SOME kind of shape by then haha. It's co-ed, so that will be something different, hopefully in a good way.

I hope all are doing great and enjoying the life God intended for you to enjoy!

FRESHMAN year is OVER  It's so crazy how it flew by! I'm now home for the summer! Well, actually, that's not entirely true. I'm kind of home for the weekend, because i'm going back to BBC on Sunday night to stay for 2 weeks of  May school. I wanted to take an extra class to be able to catch up in my program. So i'll be taking Psychology for 2 weeks and THEN i'll be completely done for the summer!

I love it at BBC. It was so sad leaving everyone yesterday for the summer! =( But i'm also really glad that it's the summer. I'm working on getting a job and I think the Lord has already provided one for me in a matter of a day, but I won't give a lot of detail on that until it's final. Praise God for the amazing things He does in our lives!

I have soooo much unpacking to do it's not even funny! I really should get started on that, but i'm just thankful i'm home for the summer!

OH, and i'm SOOOO excited for the end of the month because my family is vacationing in Arizona  Ah, I love being in warm weather! I cannot WAIT!

Hope all is well with everyone!

I can't believe how long it's been since i've written on here. I used to be so excited to post, but i've just become so busy with school and life in general. But for all who reads, i'll give ya a little update =)

God has been doing such amazing things in my life in the past 4 months! Wow 4 months?! I can't believe that. I used to be on here all the time. Well, last semester seemed to really fly by. I worked at American Eagle, and then just did babysitting to keep me busy while I wasn't in school. I managed a 3.7 for the semester, so I was really pleased about that. Towards the end of October, I went to Baptist Bible College for their fall semester play, Little Women (the musical). I absolutely loved it there. That next week, I had prayed about transferring to BBC in January and really felt a peace about it. Within the week after that, I had called BBC and had everything worked out to go there in January. God worked it all out perfectly. All my credits transferred!! Praise God!! =)

I was obviously a little nervous about transferring to BBC, especially coming in 2nd semester, but I was so excited. When I got here (BBC, that's where I am now), I loved it immediately. It was hard adjusting to new things and getting used to everything, but now, more than half-way through the semester, I really do like it. My suitemates are amazing and so much fun to be around! We have a blast! I steal clothes from my one suitemate all the time..which is what college girls do, right?? =)

The school aspect of it has been going good too. I am taking classes such as West. Civ II, ENG II, Building a Biblical Lifestyle (which I have in an hour!), New Testament Survey, Life Fitness (what a joke!), and Theology III. I'm learning so much and i'm so grateful for the opportunity for the privilege of gaining all this knowledge! Yes, the work is hard and tiring sometimes (tons of reading and papers), but it will be worth it i'm told. =) I also joined the choir chorale when I got here. And I LOVE it. I love singing and using my voice the way God intended it. I've made a ton of good friends that way and hopefully will continue to bond with them while on Spring break...we're going on tour in upstate New York...why New York?? I don't know! But we are. And we're excited to minister to those who we come into contact with. =)

Spring break is the day after tomorrow!!!! Only 1 day of classes left! Everyone gets to go home tomorrow after classes, but the choir isn't leaving until Saturday afternoon =( . That's kinda sad, but it'll be a ton of fun once we're on the road!

I think that's about everything. I could've made it longer, but I wanted to condense it for other's sake. =) OH, I got my hair cut yesterday! It was sooo long! I got about 4 inches off =) (shown in my pic!) So, anyways, i'm doing great and thanking God for everything he's teaching me here at BBC. I hope everyone is also doing well and keeping their eyes focused on God and realizing He needs to be number 1 always before anything else!! =) God bless!!
